fine art

As a practicing artist I am generally figuratively based, often exploring relationships through exaggerated perspective using oils, acrylics and digital media (see Performance). However, I am now extending this study of body language through the depiction of animals within my circus theme.

teaching

I have the great pleasure of being Head of Art at St. Julian's School, Portugal, plus I am an examiner for the International Baccalaureate.

For 30 years I have been commissioned for a variety of commercial briefs. These have ranged from children's activity books (inc Batatoon),  logos (inc Operação Nariz Vermelho/clowns in hospitals), and numerous company brochures through to large scale set designs & murals (inc MacDonalds).
